DAY OF TEST

Get ready for a smooth test day—here’s everything you need to know!

On the day of your colorectal cancer screening, a little preparation goes a long way. This short video walks you through each step, from arriving at the clinic to what to expect during the test. Our goal is to make the process as comfortable and straightforward as possible, ensuring you feel informed and at ease every step of the way

1. TAKE MEDICATIONS

  • If you have diabetes or other medical conditions, please check with your doctor for additional instructions.

  • Take your high blood pressure, seizure, or psychiatric drugs with sips of water.

2. DON’T EAT OR DRINK

  • Brush your teeth but do not swallow the water.

  • Do not chew gum.

  • Take nothing else by mouth.

3. LEAVE HOME ON TIME

  • Be sure to get to the test at or before the assigned arrival time.

  • Bring your identification card, insurance card, and method of payment.

  • Anticipate spending a 1/2 day at the hospital for the entire procedure.
